Into our Nursery:

At Ballifield, we have a Nursery which offers flexible provision for children aged 3 to 4. To apply for a place please contact the school office on (0114) 269 7557.

Into Foundation Stage 2 (Reception):

Admission to our nursery unit does not constitute any right of entry to Ballifield Primary School. Each year the school intends to admit 57 pupils. Places will be allocated for Reception by Primary Admissions in accordance with Sheffield City Council’s admissions procedure.

All applications for a Reception class place have to be made to the Primary Admissions Team, either online or by paper application form.  Information regarding applications to school can be found on the Sheffield City Council’s admissions page.

Mid-Year Transfers and families new to the City:

All transfers between schools are handled by Primary Admissions at Sheffield City Council. They can be contacted on (0114) 273 5766 or ed-admissions@sheffield.gov.uk
